Dr. Jehangir Khan

Project coordinator

Jehangir has more than 22 years of managerial, technical and policy development experience at the international level, providing support to programmes in more than 20 countries. Most recently, Jehangir worked as Project Manager with UNDP Timor Leste for a GCF-funded project and has previously worked with the UNFAO, WFP and several leading International Non-Governmental Organizations.

He has sound technical expertise in the areas of Climate Change Adaptation and Natural Resource Management, rural development and livelihoods, Disaster Risk Management/resilience building, agriculture and capacity development.  Jehangir is a Canadian national and has a multidisciplinary educational background with a PhD in International and Rural Development from the University of Reading, UK and degrees in Agriculture and Forestry/Watershed management.
